3D Fusing

3-D-fusing is a technique by which glass is processed freely above the point of transformation (that is the maximum temperature range allowing glass to remain solid and not turning liquid). This range is exceeded and thus finished glass objects which possible evoke a sterile impression are transformed into new structures and gain a new live of their own. A glass object formed by hand, “raped” so to speak, can flow into its own state of well-being in this temperature range above the transformation point. This technique demonstrates perfectly that glass can be seen as “frozen liquid”.
